Hedgehog Box

Follow them and learn how to make a warm den for visiting hedgehogs to your garden this Autumn.

 Original board -  Sterling Board in this instance

 Measure and cut out sections.  Base, front and rear and 2 sides  (table saw)

Cut out entrance  (using small band saw)

Measure and cut timber for base support and fix in position.

Cut and fix side to base supports  (chop saw and staple gun)


In the next series of photos, the sides and supports are assembled.

 Fix all sides to base  (staple gun)

Cut upright supports and fix in place

Measure, cut and fix central partition.

Cut roof to size.    Measure, cut and fix battens to position roof onto box.

Measure, cut and fix weatherproof membrane to roof.
